 | Ahmad Salaymeh | Prof. Ahmed Al-Salaymeh is a professor and the chairman of the Mechanical Engineering Department in the University of Jordan. He received his Ph.D. degree from Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen, Germany in 2001. He organized and participated in many workshops, seminars and conferences in the field of Energy, Renewable Energy and Green building. He is also an expert in the Field of Energy Regulation. He is Certified Energy Manager CEM, and Certified Carbon Reduction Manager CRM. He is the local coordinator for Tempus project on the establishment of Master program on sustainability and the renewable energy and the grant holder for tempus project establishment of a master program in environmental engineering and climate change, in addition to other 4 tempus projects. Also He is a coordinator of Erasmus + project in the field of capacity building of higher education entitled “Modernization of teaching methodologies in higher education: EU experience for Jordan and Palestinian territory / METHODS”. Also he is the contact person for 6 Erasmus+ projects at UJ. He is very well-known in the EU project management. |
|  | Prof. Lutfi Al-Sharif | Prof. Lutfi Al-Sharif : An able academic with a balanced mix of academic, industrial, consulting and managerial experience of 30 years. Experience in the area of vertical transportation systems (elevators and escalators). Experience with the UK Metro Systems and high rise building design. Delivered many courses in the areas of vertical transportation systems, drives, instrumentation and process control. Extensive research in the area of vertical transportation system traffic design and its energy modelling. Other research interests include design of LVDT, remote laboratories, coordinate measuring machines, electromagnetic actuators and mechatronics education. Proven track record of running an engineering consultancy business for 10 years.

|  | Mohammad Hamdan | Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University (Pullman) (USA) in 1985. M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (Combustion & Energy) from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wales (Cardiff), United Kingdom . Promoted to the rank of full professor in 1995 and worked as Engineering sector Advisor at Higher council for science and technology. Dean of engineering at the University of Jordan (1997-2001), Dean of engineering at Hashemite University (2001-2003). On unpaid leave from University of Jordan and appointed as Dean of Engineering at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan (2009- 2014). Starting from September of 2014, he is back to University of Jordan. He published over 130 in international journals and conferences most of which in the field of renewable energy. His research interests are renewable energy, alternative fuels, combustion and pollution and heat transfer.Since 1985, Prof. M. Hamdan has been involved (in addition to teaching energy courses) in research in the field of renewable energy and publishing numerous articles, most of which on energy. He has also been involved into Tempus projects in the field of renewable energy, environment and climate change. |
|  | Abeer Al-Bawab | She is the dean for the Deanship of Academic Research (DAR) and a professor at the chemistry department.She received her Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry from Clarkson University (CU), USAin 1997.Preceding 2014, she worked as a director for a research center located at the heart of The University of Jordan, Hamdi Mango Center for Scientific Research (HMCSR), for six continues years (2008 – 2014). During that time, Prof. Al-Bawab had set her eyes toward achieving her mission of restructuring the center as a whole and relocating its objectives and responsibilities. Consequently, she took the initiative to bring many ideas into action by obtaining many grants and funds for many research and capacity building projects.Hosting many researchers as well as graduate, undergraduate and high school students inside the center. What’s more, the building capacity was enlarged for employees and students by construction workshops for their training. Never the less she was involved in regulating the usage of scientific instruments, finally but most important establishment the center labs and transferring technology office inside the center. |
|  | Ali Rodan | Dr. Ali Rodan (B.Sc. PSUT 2004; M.Sc. Oxford Brookes University 2005; Ph.D. The University of Birmingham 2012) is an Assistant Professor at the University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan. He is currently the Director of Computer Center at the University of Jordan. His research interests include recurrent neural networks, dynamical systems and machine learning. Dr. Rodan has co-organized 3 special sessions devoted to learning on temporal data at international conferences. Currently he specializes on reservoir computation models, their design and theoretical properties. |
|  | Hashem Al-Khaldi | Dr. Hashem Alkhaldi is an associate professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department in the University of Jordan. He received his Ph.D. degree from Institute of Engineering and Computational Mechanics, University of Stuttgart, Germany in 2007. He worked in the field of parallel computations in contact dynamics of granular mechanical media. His research is also concentrated on solving nonlinear problems in solid mechanics and in biomechanics by investigating the dental implants using finite element technique. Dr. Alkhaldi is active in publishing articles in many local and international scientific journals as well as participating and attending many workshops, seminars and conferences. Dr. Alkhaldi is looking forward to have a real spot in the field of Energy, Renewable Energy and Green building.

|  | Muhannad Al-Shboul | Dr. Muhannad Al-Shboul is an Associate Professor of e-Learning in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, the University of Jordan, and Amman, Jordan. His primary research interests include e-Learning, Web-based Learning, Web Design, e-Government, Distance Learning, e-Content Development, Human Resources Development, and Educational Technology Utilizations in Higher Education. So far, he has published more than 20 articles in reputed International Journals related to his field of specialization, published two books in e-Learning, delivered many oral presentations at international educational conferences, and conducted several training sessions including faculty development, human resources management, leadership skills, and instructional design strategies. Dr. Al-Shboul received a M.S. in Computer Science from Northeastern Illinois University and a Ph.D. in Educational Technology from Northern Illinois University in the United States. |
|  | Khaled Younis | Dr. Khaled S. Younis (male), Assistant Professor at the University of Jordan and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the German-Jordanian University, Amman, Jordan. Dr. Younis had received his Ph.D. from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Dayton, OH, USA and his master’s in Electrical Engineering from the air Force Institute of Technology, USA (Distinguished Graduate). Dr Younis was recognized with the fourth-place award in the IEEE Computer Society International Design Competition World Finals held in Washington DC in 2006. University of Jordan was the only university in the Middle East to be among the top ten universities. He received a grant from the Polytechnic University of Valencia to perform research in Spain under the program “Invitation of Prestige Foreign Researchers”. Dr Younis won the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Award for the Most Outstanding Research Project in the Faculty-For-Factory National Program in 2007. This competition focuses on practical projects that enhance Industry in Jordan. Dr Younis co-founded Qualia Computing Co. in 1997 which acquired CADx Systems and both merged with iCAD in 2003 and served as R&D Consultant 1997-2005. Dr Younis acted as a progenitor for new iCAD products in medical imaging and other applications; Computer-Based Drug Design, Bioinformatics, Dental applications, Intelligent Patient Monitoring, and Skin Cancer detection. Lung Cancer Computer-Aided Diagnosis, Computer-Aided Diagnosis in Virtual Colonoscopy. Dr Younis served as Regional Sales Manager, Middle East, Africa for TERARECON, INC., US company based in Foster City, CA. His is specialized in machine learning, E-health applications, speech, video and audio signal processing. He has published numerous research papers at national and international journals, conference proceedings as well as book chapters |
|  | Sana’a Al-Aqqad | Sana’a Al-Aqqad is a research assistant and technical manager at the Water Energy and Environment Center (WEEC) of the University of Jordan. She obtained the Master degree in Chemistry from The University of Jordan in Amman-Jordan, 2005. Al-Aqqad’s research interests are in evaluating and monitoring water and environmental organic and inorganic pollutants. In addition to her tasks Miss Aqqad was assigned as a coordinator assistant on the project “MAster program of Environmental engineering and Climate change “(MAPEC), which is an EU-funded project through Tempus program that supports the modernization of higher education in the EU’s and partner countries. Also Miss Aqqad has rolled in other Tempus projects and FP7 project (Marie Curie Actions People, International Research Staff Exchange Scheme) were The University of Jordan is also a partner. |
|  | Eng. Leena Mohammad Marashdeh | Eng. Marashdeh is a Research Assistant at School of Engineering in The University of Jordan (UJ). She received a Master degree in Environmental and Water Engineering from the University of Jordan (UJ) in 2013. She was assigned as a coordinator assistant on Erasmus+ Projects, in which The University of Jordan (UJ) is the applicant (Grant Holder) for these projects, alongside with other projects in which (UJ) is a partner. In addition, she is involved in organizing the scientific conferences and workshops. |
